Dharma Yoga is a graceful, yet challenging form of yoga based on Sri Dharma Mittra’s almost fifty years of practice of classical yoga. The practice is appropriate for students of all levels, from beginner to lifelong practitioners and accessible to so many because it meets each student where they are and according to their condition. As students move through the different series, they are encouraged to go deeper and experience the practice in a meditative and spiritual way. In essence, Dharma Yoga is a system of classical Hatha-Raja Yoga.
Hatha Yoga has its foundation in the principles of classical Yoga. The seeker comes to know the universe by knowing the individual universe: the body. Realizing the greater outcomes of Yoga begins with sitting/silence, controlling the body, breath and mind so that one’s soul can be heard. Students will be challenged to stabilize and move their bodies in a more integrated and safer way, identifying with the breath as the key to unlocking the body's and mind’s potential. The asanas, postures will be taught from a traditional perspective to bring lightness, comfort and balance to the body. Expansion of the breath also correlates with the expansion of one’s vitality and prepares the student for meditation. For that reason, the pace and mood of Hatha Yoga is calm and steady - with special attention to mindful and curious self-exploration. The session will end with complete — physical, mental and spiritual — relaxation, leading to a systematic transformation of one’s self.
This class is appropriate for all levels of yoga students who have some experience with yoga. The instructor will offer modifications for level 1 students as well as more challenging poses for advanced students.
This class is appropriate for intermediate to advanced yoga students who have some experience with yoga. The instructor will offer modifications for level 3 students as well as more challenging poses for advanced students.
Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness, was brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan in 1968. Through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation your glandular and nervous systems are stimulated into balance, and your capacity for creativity and connection is heightened. You gain inner vitality to compensate for the adverse effects of stress so you can excel in life. Kundalini Yoga is practiced to give you an experience of your own infinity. Through Kundalini Yoga and Meditation you begin to harness the universal energy, prana, in order to direct the mind towards the reality of the soul.
Raj Yoga is the practical and scientific method for achieving union with the Supreme; it is the most ancient method of turning physical and mental energy into spiritual energy; Raj Yoga is the ocean in which the boats of Hatha, Vinyasa and Kundalini Yoga float.
Each class will be unique in terms of postures practiced, Yoga philosophy discussion, sequencing of asanas, types of pranayama (breath elongation & expansion), various kriyas which enhance circulation of prana and the movement of energy throughout the body, aided relaxation (physically, mentally and spiritually); all accompanied by a selection of the best local and international live sound artists and healing musicians!!! Music/sound has the ability to penetrate the subtle physical and metaphysical channels of the body and realign the nervous system.
Yoga is a movement from the 'seen' to the 'unseen,' from the gross to the subtle, from the relative and ordinary to the unbounded and infinite.
Sudarshan will instruct students on how to tap into the experiential fullness and yet calm emptiness of the mind, harnessing the knowledge of Yoga, the expansive nature of reality and specific methods of self-liberation, self-healing and maintaining true health.

Restorative yoga is about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. In this class, you may hardly move at all, doing just a few postures in the course of an hour.
During these long holds, your muscles relax deeply. It's a completely different feeling from other types of yoga classes since props are used to support your body instead of your muscles. Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices and an excellent antidote to stress.
You don't have to be flexible to get a really satisfying yoga class! This is a challenging vinyasa flow class that will get your heart pumping with new and interesting sequences. We will cover basics for beginners and get acrobatics in for more advanced students. You'll leave feeling invigorated and centered, like a real yogi.
Brianna'a Integrated Slow flow/Yin Candlelit Yoga Class combines elements of Yin Yoga with a slow paced vinyasa practice. In the Yin Yoga portion of this practice, poses are held for 3-5 minutes, aimed at accessing deeper states of meditation and relaxation. The slow flow portion of this class offers mindful and meditative movement to increase body awareness and regulation of the nervous system. Brianna's classes are intended to wind down the mind, body, and soul at the end of the day and are set to calming music and a candle-lit classroom.
This class builds the student’s focus and ability to be conscious through relaxation, with the help of full body opening postures and complete physical, mental and spiritual relaxation using techniques of Raj Yoga, Sound Healing and Yoga Nidra.
Students will be immersed in learning the ancient Yogic purification practices while simultaneously enjoying the detoxifying and restorative effects of sonic healing modalities. Philosophy, posture, Yogic breathing, mental steadiness and meditation will flow into a full, unbroken savasan (relaxation), letting the body’s systems completely absorb the benefits of the practice and allowing the healing sound frequency to enter newly created "spaces" in service of physical, mental and spiritual alignment.
